All of these Apps can be found using the ITunes App store. Just type in the title of each app to find in the app store. Some of these apps can be found in the android market as well.

Google Drive - Allows you to create, edit, and access Google Documents. This is what we will be using in class. Any document that you create, will be shared with me via your Google Drive. If you are not near a computer, you can always access your Google Drive with this app. Remember, if you created something with Microsoft Word, you can convert it using the Google Drive. You get 5GB of storage. When you log into the app, make sure you type in your school e-mail address to sync your drive ([email protected])

Evernote - Turns your device into a note taker, but not just any note taker. You can add text, snap pictures, and even record audio/video. Once you save your note, you can access it on any other device or computer to look over at a later time. You can make up to 5 notes for free!

Genius Scan - This App allows you to scan any paper document into a Jpeg (Picture) or PDF (Adobe Document). After you scan paper document, you can save it to your Google Drive or E-mail it directly to anyone in your contacts list. You can even add one of these pictures to your Evernote document! This is a great app to take photos of paper documents as well as receipts or any other important paper documents that you have.

Dragon Dictation - A free Speech to Text application. If you are a slow typer this is the app for you. It will allow you type up to 5 times faster just by using your voice. You have to make sure that when you are using this app to speak loud, clear, and slower than normal. Make sure you pronounce the entire word. You can use this app to create a note, e-mail, and you can even use it to write your weekly blog on Google +

Acceleread Speed Reading Trainer - Learn to become a speed reader! This app allows you choose different articles of your choice. Once you found the right article for you, choose the pace that you would like to read at and let the app do the rest of the work. Once you complete the article it will let you know your WPM (Words per minute rate) This will help you read and comprehend text faster.

Number Line - Are you struggling with fractions and decimals in class? Are you struggling with measurement? Then this is the app for you. This app turns your device into an interactive number line. It is a game that times how fast you can put decimals, percents, and fractions correctly on a number line. The faster the better. Can you beat my best time of 15 seconds?

Flashcards Deluxe - Easy to use flash card maker that enables you to study anything you want. Create a new set of cards or download any of the 4 million+ sets that are available. Once you have your cards made or downloaded, the app has 2 study modes. One that will focus more on the cards that you continue to miss, and one that uses repetition to enforce the idea or concept.

Math Champ Challenge - This app is great for us! It is based for grades 4-7. It features over 2500 Common Core related questions that will challenge you. It is a game that you can compete against your friends with. It will also give you practice suggestions at the end of each level that you beat.

Free Graphing Calculator - This app will be very useful when you are doing homework at home or at school outside of the classroom. This app is very similar to the graphing calculator that we use in class. You can do simple calculations like squaring and square roots, and you can also use this app to graph equations on the X, Y coordinate plane.
